Frequently Asked Questions

How thick should a patio be?

Residential patios are typically poured at 4 inches thick on a well-compacted gravel base. This is sufficient for foot traffic and outdoor furniture. If you plan to drive on it or park near it, we'll recommend 5–6 inches.

Can I add a stamped finish to my patio?

Yes. Stamped concrete is one of our specialties. We can replicate the look of stone, brick, slate, or wood plank. Integral color and accent color options are available. Ask to see pattern samples during your estimate.

How long before I can use my new patio?

You can walk on it after 24–48 hours. We recommend waiting 7 days before placing heavy furniture and 28 days for full cure. We'll give you specific guidance based on weather conditions.
